From the time this site went live, I have thought of writing this post. It still is so painful that my very best friend during those years passed away so long ago.

Frannie and I spent most of our high school years sharing some real adventures. We would go skiing in Seven Springs with her family, dinners at the country club, and cheerleading fun. I spent more Friday nights at her home than my own, and was always welcome by her family. We dated best friends, we worked at the Jersey shore one summer living upstairs of the restaurant where she was the salad girl and I was the dessert girl. We hitchhiked across Pennsylvania one time and honeslty, I don't know why?? We were going to the shore for work but not sure why we didnt take a bus or something?? We went to visit her boyfriend at WU and ran through a toll gate on the freeway because we didn't have enough cash to pay the toll between the 3 of us. And the story of how she broke her foot one night, having to sleep on it because we didn't want to tell her parents who were drining her older sister to the hospieal to get her tonsils removed, is going to be one that I will take to my grave..Its a good one!

We connected in person just once and that was the 15 year reunion. We took our little kids to a part, parted ways never knowing that the promise to get together again would never happen.

She was truly one of the closest people in my life and her laugh was the best. I will never complain about my age as there are so many that are denied the priveledge.

I want to thank Carol for writing so poignantly about Frannie.  I keenly admired everything about that girl and was always cheered by her smile and grace. It was shocking and awful that she passed away so very young.
