
Bruce D. "Blu" Schorr, 49, of Butler, died Jan. 22, 2002, at his residence. He was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Pittsburgh, a son of Warren Schorr of Gibsonia, and Margaret (Schultz) Schorr of Butler. Blu was a member of St. Andrew R. C. Church, Butler. He was employed by Penn Perry Inc. in Wexford as a union carpenter by trade, and was a member of the carpenter's union, Green Cove Yaught Club and National Rifleman's Association. Blu was an avid boater, water skier and golfer. He especially enjoyed his Labrador Retriever. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Lucas F. Schorr; a daughter, Kady M. Schorr, both at home; two brothers, Kevin W. and Keith E. Schorr, of Butler; and a sister, Colleen Schorr Horwitz and husband Dino of Natrona Heights. Blu was predeceased by his wife, Tina Craft Schorr. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at St. Andrew R.C. Church, 1660 N. Main St. Extension, Butler, at 6 p.m. Family suggests memorial donations be sent to Bruce Schorr Memorial Fund, c/o Northwest Savings Bank, 151 Pittsburgh Rd., Butler, PA, 16001.
