Rhonda Jean Kasper 12/27/1953 - 07/21/2018 Rhonda Jean Kasper's soul sailed on July 21, 2018 on a beautiful cruise ship, Majesty of the Seas, in Cozumel, Mexico. A celebration of her wonderful life will be held on August 4, 2018 from 11a- 3p at 1107 Shockney Ln., Ormond Beach, FL. Rhonda Jean Kasper, 64, of Ormond Beach was born in Pittsburg, PA and grew up in Allegany County, PA. She graduated from Baldwin High School. She then moved to Ormond Beach, FL in 1978 to continue her family, career and life. She graduated from Daytona Beach Community College as a paralegal in 1998 with honors. Rhonda worked as the Family Law paralegal for the Doran Sims Wolfe & Ciocchetti law firm for 15 years. With her profoundly positive nature, sincere devotion and keen intellect, Rhonda shepherded each and every client through difficult legal battles and provided consummate support to Ted Doran whom she fondly and reverently referred to as "a pit bull in the court room." For Rhonda, every day was a happy day; she truly loved life and savored every moment. On Fridays she would cheer, "It's that Happy Friday!" and during the week she would encourage clients and co-workers with, "It's almost that five-o'clock rocks!" Rhonda will be remembered for her love of boating, fishing, traveling, dancing and her tremendous love for family and friends. Rhonda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ralph and Norma Kasper, and her spouse of 25+ years, Harold Heitlauf. She will be greatly missed by her brothers Ralph Kasper, Rick (Terrie) Kasper, son Sonny (Agnes) Ammon, her daughter Sheri (John) Bennett, stepchildren Genevieve and Trevor Heitlauf, devoted dog Tasi, grandchildren Justice, Jacob, John III and Blaine, and nieces/nephews Tracy, Casey, Amanda, RJ and Kimberly. In lieu of flowers, please consider bringing a small tree or plant so her family can plant them to watch them grow in her memory. Published by Daytona Beach News-Journal from Jul. 28 to Jul. 31, 2018.
